In Acrobat 5, that was true. With Acrobat 6, this is NO LONGER the case. Acrobat (all versions) can submit forms at any time - regardless of the browser.

Acrobat 5 seems to submit fine, even when running on OSX... but this is true for Acrobat Reader 5 wich requires Classic mode, and a Classic browser with the PDF viewer plug-in enabled to submit.

Correct. For Acrobat 5, you needed to be running in Classic in order to do forms submissions - UNLESS you had Reader 5.1 and a form with submission rights enabled.

My question is about submitting with Adobe Reader 6 running on OSX.
Is it possible, or not ?

Acrobat 6 (all flavors) can submit forms at any time - regardless of the browser.
