Hello People
I have recently had a complaint from a user which indicates that the:
hash symbol when used in a form to go to a world wide web link
at the tag indicated e.g.
http://www.soc.staffs.ac.uk/eh1/index.html<hash symbol>TAG
when read by version 6 of Acrobat Reader, the <hash symbol>
becomes: <percent sign> and therefore fails to go to the tag.
I suspect this may be caused by the document and the link being
created on a Macintosh (OS 9.1).
Anyone any thoughts on this problem ?
Regards....Eric Halliday.
P.S. This message has been sent from a Macintosh G4. I have
ttherefore, not used the hash symbol or the percent symbol in
this message in case they do not translate to a PC platform.
