PDF-Forms is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________

Among the Extended Rights are the Commenting Rights.

This means that you can activate the full Commenting functionality by adding these rights to the documents.

On-line commenting should become possible as well (and that's kind of what you seem to have in mind).

In case of doubt, contact your Adobe representative, and set up some tests.

Hope, this can help.

We use a repository of Autocad drawings that we have converted to PDF files
and added form fields to allow users to select specific objects on the
drawing to make database queries etc. The drawings are accessed through the
web and run under in our intranet using internet explorer and Acrobat Reader
(WinNT/WinXP)
I would like to be able to dynamically add annotations to the drawings
(temporary changes) and could conceptually use the Ink Annotations to do
this by creating FDF data and loading that information onto the drawing when
a user asks for one from the web server.
I know that /Annots in the FDF files do not work with Acrobat Reader, but
does anybody know if we used the document server for reader extensions to
modify the PDF files, would they then accept the FDF data (sent from a web
server?). If not, does anybody know of an alternative way of doing this?
These drawings are known as PID diagrams (process and instrumentation) which
show a plant process, and when we work on equipment we put caution tags on
the devices. What I want to do is show the tags on the drawings next to the
devices, but because the tags are temporary I don't want to alter the master
drawing, just annotate as required .
Any advice would be appreciated
