I sent this yesterday – but it didn’t make it on this list – so I will try today.

Subject: printing multiple acrobat documents

I have an Active Server Page web application where users input information on Acrobat Forms (note the users only have reader). The data is then saved to the database. After the user clicks on save, they are sent to a menu page that has additional forms that can be selected then filled out.

What they want to do is to print all forms that are completed. They don’t want to print the forms individually. So, the questions becomes

a)       How can this be completed…  I only want to print those forms that have data saved for them… if I use the print capability of the OS, then you get the kludge open/close in the foreground vs. background.

b)       It seems a print merge would work, but the file size could become unbearable. – any ideas on that?

Any information would be great.

Thank you,

Sandy Ryan
