We (at DLI in WEstern Australia) have just started a process where surveyors can lodge
plans electronically as PDF files. I prepared some templates containing form fields
that surveyors place on top of the PDF created from CAD. A problem has arisen where
the surveyor has lodged some plans, they look great on the screen but when you print
them at DLI (using Windows NT and AA5) all the form fields are mirrowed (or back to
front). At the source (using XP and AA5) everything is fine. The form fields are
placed on an e-Plan using a spawn button but I don't believe this is causing the
problem as it works fine using other scenarios. We can overcome the problem by
printing from a laptop running Windows 200 and AA6.

Has anyone encountered this sort of problem. I suspect it may have something to do
with AA5 not coping with, or recognising, a page rotation between creating a PDF and
placing form fields into it. The printers get confused in my view. AA6 seems to have
fixed the problem.

Regards

Eric
