Hi, Michael I was hoping you guys could help with this... "MultiFunction Device" is a new one. Other possible acronyms I've encountered is "Master Data File" and "Master Dictionary File" but find nothing of the sort on Adobe's site. I have no other information to go on - MDF in relation to Adobe Central Pro. Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps you are instead referring to MFD (MultiFunction Device). We rely on various models of MFDs for digitizing paper documents and moving the TIFF images to a hot folder for Adobe Capture. We also convert many of the scanned documents into PDF files with Adobe Acrobat for further processing.
