but is there a way to save an acrobat file in V6 professional as V1.3 or V1.4 PDF as opposed to 1.5? I have bunch of forms that need to be opened in both versions and the changes we are making are compatible with both.
You can do this under Advanced --> PDF Optimizer, and select the desired compatibility... and don't forget to verify all the other options.
The resulting documents are kind of OK (although I heard of some third party applications having trouble with these files, so that it has been recommended to resave them in 5 or 4.
