Hmm, I'm guessing that this product uses some clever kludge to make this
work.  Does anyone know what that is?  I'm curious.

The main problem here, I think, is that it's not always clear what you get
"for free" and what you have to pay for.  The technical documents are
primarily concerned with what you can and can't do instead of what costs
money and what's free.  The problem is that in the real world people also
are interested in balancing *what* you can do with how much it's going to
cost to do it.  In order to do that you need to understand the various ways
the Adobe functionality is packaged and how much each of those packages
cost.  This is non-trivial unfortunately.

That's easy ... the entire suite of Adobe products. :)  Oh, you didn't have
a Fortune 100 company IT budget at your disposal?  I'm afraid you're going
to have to figure out what functionality you need and match it with some
subset of the Adobe products or <plug> contact your local Adobe partner and
let them do the figuring for you (that's how some of us make our living :)
