Using Adobe Acrobat 6.0.1, I converted 14 Word and Excel documents that
included graphs and images into individual PDFs. The documents were
then merged together to make a single PDF which I added bookmarks to.
When I viewed and tested the document in 6.0.1 everything was perfect --
pages, and bookmarks. I then posted the document onto our Internet
site.

Today I received some calls from my clients indicating some of the pages
were missing from the website PDF. I opened that PDF (at
http://www.london.ca/Council/Budgets/2004/2004_Council_Approved_Budget.p
df) and found no problems, but my client insisted there major errors.
So I went to a couple co-worker's stations -- one has Acrobat 5.0 and
the other has Approval 5.0 -- and sure enough, a number of pages were
missing (actually 'blacked-out') and a few bookmarks were linked to the
wrong page. One thing I noticed when I opened the file on their
stations was an Acrobat message that begins "some features may not work"
popped up.

The curious part of this whole thing is, yesterday the same clients,
looked at the same file, using the same readers and everything was
perfect (insert musical theme from the Twilight Zone)! They even gave
their full approval. The only thing I can see that is different
is...the web browser is involved.

Has anyone run into this problem? Where do I begin looking for a
solution?
