The new Adobe Designer, that is currently in beta, can design PDF forms that handle like-named fields differently than previous versions of Acrobat. They can handle what you're trying to do. The new code is the fruit of integrating JetForm/Accelio technology with PDF, so I'm not sure how it interacts with traditional PDF page templates, but it might work. If you don't mind generating PDFs on the server, then Adobe Central Server can generate PDFs with repeating data just the way you describe. Handling multi-record data files that contain like-named fields is something that JetForm/Accelio products have handled for many years. It will take some time to for this technology to be fully integrated into the existing PDF technology. The number of entries will vary. I think I've figured out how to create the form dynamically from the info in the FDF toolkit, I'm just curious as to how to go about populating the fields. For example, if a field is labeled FirstName, then every field with that label will have the same value. How, then, can I get the information on the second page to be different?
