Glyn - What you are seeing is 'typical'. RGB and CMYK will not produce the same colors when converted. Without going into extreme detail, your best bet is to call your printer and ask for the output profile of the press you will be printing on. They should be able to explain where to load the profile into your system. >From there, you will need to turn Color Management on in InDesign and select the CMYK profile you were given. This profile is your "CMYK Working Space". If you know where your images came from, i.e. what scanner, digital camera, web and you have a profile for this input device, you can select this as your RGB working space. Click OK and recreate your PDF with these settings. You should get considerably better output. Good Luck! ~Scott Southerland To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html
