I would like to link from an HTML document to any of four pages in a PDF file. For example, in one instance I would like to have page 1 open, in another page 2. How is that link written, or does one need to use javascript?
The idea is to reduce download time, but, given the nature of the recent discussion, I wonder whether download time would be reduced after all. It sounds like page 1 loads regardless of which page loads first, since that is where the X-ref lies, if I understand the linearization issue correctly.
Thanks!
