color pages
Two important questions come
to mind...
What application are
you using for scanning? What scanner
(make and model) are you using?

Subject: [PDF] deskewing scanned color
pages |
The PDF
list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com

I am working on project that requires me scan
a large number of documents at 24 bit
color.
When scanning these documents
many of the pages are becoming skewed.
Because the images are color, rather than bi-tonal, the deskewing tools
on my scan station don't work.
I am saving these files out to pdf &
putting them through an OCR process to create a pdf w/image+text. The OCR process also does not correct
the skew.
Does anyone know of any tools
that will allow me to automatically deskew these pages?
Thanks,
Jeff Campbell
