Hello , All.
I work with Separation Color Space and PANTONE colors.

But there is some moments i can not understand.

They say in documentation that TINT is value on
which CMYK values are multiplyed by.

For example if MyColorCMYK={1, 0.5, 0, 0} then
MyColorCMYK TINT=0%   is {  0,    0, 0, 0}
MyColorCMYK TINT=50%  is {0.5, 0.25, 0, 0}
MyColorCMYK TINT=100% is {  1,  0.5, 0, 0}

At the same time they say in documentation that there is special
function in Color Space dictionary and that function determines color
depending on TINT value.

All examples of PANTONE colors i have in files use Type 0 - Sampled function.
It means that if there are three samples in function defined
MyColorCMYK for exaple as follows
{   1, 0.5, 0, 0
    0,   1, 0, 0,
  0.5,   1, 0, 0}
then
MyColorCMYK TINT=0%   is {   1,  0.5,  0, 0}
MyColorCMYK TINT=50%  is {   0,    1,  0, 0}
MyColorCMYK TINT=100% is { 0.5,    1,  0, 0}

I want to know how to change CMYK values depending on TINT values.
Should i use first way or second or may be another way?

One more question-
What types of function can be used in Color Space dictionary?
I have examples with Type 0 functions only, but should i work
with other types?

Thanks.
