Just recently upgraded to Mac OSX.2.6 (from OS9) and Acrobat 5.0.5 (from Acrobat 4) on a G4.
We're a newspaper and make EPS files out of Acrobat (save as) from the PDFs we receive, then place the EPS files into MultiAd Creator Pro.
Since the upgrade, most (but maddenly not all) color EPS files do not separate correctly in Creator. Black separates on all pages and the color photos do not separate at all.
I can open the PDF files in Photoshop and eps/tiff those files, which then separate correctly in Creator but I don't really don't want the lower quality files that Photoshop produces.
This is happening more and more so I have to assume there's a setting wrong on my end. OS9 computers can make the Acrobat EPS and the file works.
No one here can figure out any settings that are wrong. Does anyone have any idea?
