I have a PDF document with a logotype which displays fine (with Smooth Line Art activated) in Acrobat 5. As soon as I bring this into Acrobat 6, the letter 'I' gets distorted (e.g., becomes enlarged against the other characters) - all characters being outlined as line art (not font characters). If I magnify to a much larger view on screen, the distortion disappears. If I deactivate Smooth Line Art the problem disappears (but is replaced by the expected unclear display). I've tried redrawing the 'I' as a rectangle with the same results in Acrobat 6 (from both In Design and Illustrator). Then I recreated [in Illustrator] the 'I' from a capital 'D', removing points, etc. - unbelievably this now displays ok??? Have I missed something pretty obvious here in terms of set-up - right now, it seems that every brand identity I have with a capital 'I' may be about to lose it's integrity in Acrobat 6... surely this can't be the case? Grateful thanks for any thoughts/explanations. Ian == To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html
