The catch is that I need them to print 2-up on legal size > paper. No matter the setting, when I print it to Acrobat distiller and send > it to PDF, it ends up being scaled down to 8.5x11 paper. > > I've changed the setting in the PROPERTIES > LAYOUT > ADVANCED to use legal > size paper and print 2 per sheet. I don't see anything under the ADOBE PDF > SETTINGS tab to force a different page size. Am I missing something? Is this > a Word issue or Distiller issue? > Try the following: set up your page size in word as W-14", H-8.5" and Orientation Landscape. On the margins tab check 2 pages per sheet. Put << /PageSize [ 1008 612]>> setdistillerparams in your prologue.ps (that's in a directory Data somewhere under the Distiller directory). Tell Distiller to process prologue.ps and epilogue.ps from the Advanced tab. Don't worry about other Distiller setting to do with paper sizes. Specify your page order as you print to Acrobat. > Darrel Austin > > To change your subscription: > http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html > -- Matthew Fitzgerald Byte Ryte bv Oudegracht 219 NL 3511 NH Tel: +31 (0)30 2380023 Fax: +31 (0)30 2380076 http://www.byteryte.nl To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html
