The easiest method may be to convert the PDF file to Word ("PDF Converter for
Microsoft Word" from ScanSoft does an exceptional job preserving the appearance of the
PDF file after it is converted to a Word Document.). (www.scansoft.com) Do the
editing in Word and convert the document back to PDF. To batch convert a large number
of PDF files to Word (with Scansoft's PDF Converter installed as a Word Plug-in) -
you might consider "Acrobot-SS1" from Acrobotics (www.acrobotics.net)
