we use our own printer driver to generate the ps file as we found that we could not exactly replicate the correct page margins set up in word using distiller.

Hi
We have rencently bought the Optima font, but when we convert a word file (we are on Windows 2000) containing Optima to pdf we get an error message saying that the file could not be converted because "Optima cannot be embedded due to licensing restrictions".
We create a ps file by converting through our own printer then going through a watched folder to create a pdf. Is the problem related to the font itself not allowing it to be used in pdfs??

Can anyone please offer any help or advice for this problem??
What version of Distiller are you using? There was an issue with the initial version 4 and not being able to embed fonts that were licensed to embed. The update to 4.05 fixed that.
