Is it really true that... Acrobat Reader... set to autorun from a CD will always find and use a HD instal of Reader, if it exists? Because this is what I find.
Like... AcroRd32.exe appears to have some kind of search function that defaults to the HD version...which is then likely to put up a splash screen.... a prompt to configure the user's browser... have no smoothing set ... and a mouse cursor that disappears after a couple of seconds etc.etc.
Is there a way of ensuring that a CD version of Reader with the appropriate preferences set is the one used rather than a HD version? Or is this just a 'serious limitation' of Acrobat Reader that I have to live with?
