It does, however, recognize Acrobat 4 (PDF1.3) files for sure. Since you have Acrobat 6, you can distill using Adobe PDF Settings set for Acrobat 4 compatibility. Or, if you have the professional version of Acrobat, you can go File/Reduce File Size� to "dumb" your PDF to a previous version. You also have the option of using the Advanced/PDF Optimizer function for more refined dumbing down of your file (better than "Reduce File Size�" because you can control resolution, font embedding, and other clean up options using it). Which specific reduction options are available in the Acrobat 6 Standard edition, I can't remember. HTH, -- C.
