We are sending our customers electronic proofs in PDF form by email which we build for them, which they then send to our competitors.
One way to solve that is the legal route. Get your customers to sign an agreement not permitting redistribution. Then if they do, you can go after them.

Not be removed using ANY tool, or not be removed using standard Acrobat functionality?
or make the ad un-printable.
For this, use the standard Acrobat security features...
