Unless I missed something the TOC concept works perfectly well for creating "Bookmarks" and can only be accessed from within the PDF Named destinations are a different concept that allows a link via a http reference. I've been looking for an automated method of creating "Named Destination's" from bookmarks created by the TOC. The length of the document should not make a difference.
