I don't know Dov's Setting, but there is no reason why they should not work. Everything that is not in the settings and is now supported by Distiller 6 will be set to a default value.

I just updated from Acrobat 5 to Acrobat 6 Professional. I have been using
the "Acrobat 5 Distiller Settings" recommended by Dov Isaacs ("Reliable PDF
Creation in the Enterprise", PDF 2002 Conference East, June 4, 2002). Would
these distiller settings still be appropriate for Acrobat 6?
