Thought I would let everyone know that Apago & PDF Sages have released a MAJOR new version of PDF Enhancer - version 2.0.
PDF Enhancer continues to offer image optimization and compression, security, linearization, metadata editing and the most advanced file size reduction techniques available.
PDF Enhancer 2.0 adds several new features including file merging, stamping, imposition, color management and JBIG2 compression making it a powerful solution for modifying, optimizing and repurposing PDF files.
Version 2.0 builds upon the original product's unique "targeted optimization" technology by separating out the concepts of a Target and an Enhancer. A Target represents the settings for a particular final use of the document (High Quality Printing, Web, eBook, etc.). An Enhancer groups one or more Targets together. This allows PDF Enhancer to take a single PDF as input, and produce multiple targeted documents (eg. Web, Print, Screen) as the result. All of this is accomplished while preserving bookmarks, annotations, hyperlinks, and form fields.
