Hi,

A couple of years ago we produced a complex DVD-ROM based on pdf. We built it with Acrobat 4.05. The main navigation tool was a "desktop" image with clickable hotspots. When we built the disc ("How To Read a Film") we were able to force this single-page pdf to stay open and thus be available to the user no matter what other pdfs were open. This was true cross-platform.

Now, we notice this Main Menu pdf disappears when other files are opened, thus destroying the basic navigation.

Does anyone have any idea how we can force the Menu to stay open? Is there some switch we can tell users to set?

Thanks!

(FYI, the disc won DVD-ROM of the year in 2001 and is still a great example of multimedia pdf although Adobe has shown no interest in that aspect of the product.)
