If you have the same word throughout a document that needs to go to a specific location either in the same document or in another location I would highly recommend using a relative path and a handy tool that can be used is from Compose "Key Word Linker" or IsI's (from IsI Solutions) ezPublish Quick Word Linker. We have large files for studies and this has come in handy 9 times out of ten. Certain words are mentioned more than a dozen times in a document typically as large as 1 to 2,000 pages. Usually going to another document and location. I highly recommend using either of these tools. They are plugging for Adobe and very intuitive to use. -------------------------------------------------- Jason Alba Regulatory Affairs - Information Management DECADE/RADD -Submissions [EMAIL PROTECTED] 805-447-7640 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Andrew Clark Sent: Monday, February 09, 2004 2:41 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [PDF] Making links to a specific page in another file (help ) The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com __________________________________________________________________ To replicate the form field links is quick and easy enough. After you have created the field on one page (and tested it!), right click the field and select 'duplicate'. You can then instantly place it on every page in your dictionary. You will then need to change the javascript in each field so that it points to the correct page file. Some of the form field experts here can probably supply a simple script, perhaps in VBS, which will go through the fields and change the javascript appropriately.
