                                I agree that Adobe seems to have a unique
application of a Stamp function.

                                The watermark or background feature may be a
better solution at this point.

                                This isn't a solution because it gives the
user the option, and the author
                                no protection.

                                Somebody in Adobe needs to work for a law
firm for about a week.

                                                                 I make a
pdf document from several files
                                and then click the Confidential
                                                                stamp and
place this stamp on the cover.
                                When my client physically prints
                                                                the document
the stamp doesn't show. It
                                shows as being on the document on
                                                                her screen
but won't print on paper.

                                                                How are
stamps handled in 6.0 that's
                                different than in 4.0?
