If I remember correctly - and it would have helped if you had reposted
your original question - you wanted to know if IIS can byteserve PDFs. I
believe the answer is yes. Try it and see would the best way to get the
answer to that question.

I think part two of the question was about getting stats on which parts
of PDFs had been served. I think that you would not get any useful
information this way, even if it were possible in IIS, which I doubt.
Have you tried asking your IIS administrator?
