Thanks Max, I was hoping for no manual intervention. The idea was select the filename in the dropdown list and have it open in the user's browser. Just a simple file launch but with JavaScript. I have cludged a work around where by I have created an empty pdf that has a page action associated with it so that when the page is opened the pdf immediately opens the required html file and a JavaScript command closes the blank window. Acts as a shortcut or alias. Seems to work but it is not elegant and is going to quickly get boring. thanks Mark > ---------- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Max Wyss > Reply To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, April 24, 2004 9:33 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [PDF] JavaScript to launch non pdf files? > > > The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > __________________________________________________________________ > > This is possible only via the OpenFile menu action (and therefore only > hard-wired or via a series of detours).
