They were not included in the default tests because of the time it
took to run them, I would usually run the default tests more
frequently and then the textstripper/performance one separate.
Performance has been a concern since the beginning and sometimes even
small changes have had a dramatic effect on the performance so I think
performace tests should remain as part of the test suite, although I'm
sure the existing tests could be improved upon.
The text-stripping specifically tests the quality of the output.

The TextStripperPerformance tests the stripping-function but without
comparing the result with the expected result. So compared to the
TextStripper-test it does less and therefore I guess it's obsolet.
