Artifacts look good to me and I ran the build/tests from the source distro using JDK 1.4 and that was all good so +1 to the release.
A few minor points that you might want to consider for the next release: 1. The ant build uses JUnit 3.8.2 but the maven pom specifies JUnit 4.5, which means the maven build doesn't work with JDK 1.4 2. Seems slightly confusing that the disclaimer says "Apache PDFBox is an effort undergoing incubation" rather than "Jempbox" 3.
