It would be good to have the README also in the standalone package, but not necessarily important enough to block the entire release. Note that I don't see a formal -1 (nor a +1) from Niall. Basically you have three options: 1) Cut a new release candidate and restart the vote 2) Drop the standalone package and release just the other bits 3) Continue with the release as-is, just noting the concern that was raised Option 3 is a bit bad form, but other than that I have no strong preference on which option is the best.
