I've read the recent series of posts concerning the addition of a background to a PDF. I am running a PHP based webserver on Linux and would like to be able to do this to all uploaded PDFs. I read with some interest the post regarding the modifying of the content stream. My question then is, from a best practices standpoint, what's the best way to accomplish this modification in an automated process?
