Create your Document level JavaScript without the
header...

"function MyJavaScript(){"

(JS code here)

and the closing....

"}"

Then use one of the following methods

1. create one page PDF containing the JS
and insert, then delete this PDF into your target PDFs...

2.or write the JS into an FDF file and import into the
target PDFs...

both of these can be executed using the batch process.....
