Scanning paper to PDF will produce an "image only" PDF file that cannot be searched. To convert the "Image Only" PDF to render it searchable, use of the Paper Capture feature built into Acrobat 6.0 will do that. The "Image Exact" option will render the image unchanged but you can then search the text that appears in the PDF. With so many files, you may want to automate the Paper Capture process using AutoCapture-X ( http://www.pdfstore.com/details.asp?ProdID=466 ) AutoCapture-X or AutoCapture-X-Pro will automate the Paper Capture feature so you can batch process an unlimited number of PDF files.
