Can someone give my a VB code example how to print a pre created pdf document using the type lib? -----Original Message----- From: Todd Kueny [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 10:46 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PDFdev] BX and EX... PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com _____________________________________________________________ The PDF Spec says, regarding the PDF operators BX and EX, that "They bracket a compatibility section, a portion of a content stream within which unrecognized operators are to be ignored without error." Using a PDF page containing operators between BX and EX must, by definition in the standard, generate a viewer- or RIP-specific rasterization without error. Currently we require our customers to re-process such PDF files until all BX/EX operator sequences are removed - though this obviously affects the fidelity of the output. I also understand that PDF/X addresses this issue. What are the currently acceptable practices for rendering PDF pages containing operators between BX and EX?
