That has been an issue for some time. There are two ways to take care of the problem:

1. If you have full control over the client's installation AND you are running Reader 5.1 or newer, you have a Preference setting which allows you to disable the caching.

2. In all other cases, you will reset the form in the PageOpen event of the page on which the document opens. If you have a multi-page document, you will have to protect this reset by setting a flag in a document level script and checking for the flag and changing it accordingly in the PageOpen event.

I have a fillable PDF that goes through completion states in a workflow.
It is first downloaded from a URL in a browser.  After it gets
"completed", the next time you download it from the original URL, I need
all the fields to be initialized.  However, it appears to be caching the
field data.  How do I get it to reinitialize the field data?
