Keep in mind that with linearization you can NOT do a streaming model - you MUST generate the entire PDF first (either in memory or elsewhere) in order to know where all the object offsets are and THEN you can construct the linearization tables.
AND don't forget taht the whole idea of linearization is to make sure that the objects needed for page one at grouped together at the beginning of the file - so you also can't rely on generated order, you need to reorder the objects.
