I've written a Visual Basic 6.0 application that can display a pdf after the user enters a certain number.
OK, however...
First, PDF.OCX is NOT a supported developer tool. The approved way to display a PDF in your own application is using the information documented in the Acrobat SDK and demonstrated in the ActiveView sample.
NOTE: this will ONLY work when the FULL Acrobat is installed. There is no approved method for displaying PDFs with only Reader. You can, however, purchase/license a 3rd party component if you need to do so.
What I am trying to do is to give the users the ability to add some text to the document and then be able to save their changes.
You can do this using the approved APIs.
