I am no VB programmer but the way I do it on the web is just right that database record to the FDF or XFDF format and use the parameter to link back to the main PDF template...This will reduce the overhead of trying to write the whole PDF file... FDF Example: %FDF-1.2 1 0 obj << /FDF << /Fields [ << /T (amort_type) /V (Fixed)>> << /T (assets_total) /V (1000)>> << /T (autos_value) /V (20000)>> << /T (base_income_total) /V (30000)>> << /T (bonuses_total) /V (1000)>> << /T (borrowers_date) /V (Sat Jan 17 09:37:00 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) 2004)>> << /T (cash) /V (0)>> ] /F (http://www.form-genie.com/download/mortgage_loan_app_demo.pdf) >> >> endobj trailer <</Root 1 0 R>> %%EOF -- Eljon Greene FormGenie LLC, "EDocuments Simplified" Phone: 803.361.2963 Fax : 815.461.6156 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: www.form-genie.com Quoting Leonard Rosenthol <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > _____________________________________________________________ > > At 9:44 AM -0400 1/22/04, Shawn Hogan wrote: > >I'm wondering if it's possible to display a PDF in my VB.NET windows > >application by automating acrobat with only acrobat reader installed. > > No, it is not.
