Ok.  I have reduced my command line size to 232.  But the encryption still doesn't work.  Any further ideas?

Anyway, I'm trying to incorporate encryption with the pdfwrite device but it doesn't seem to work  (no encryption) .  Any ideas ?

First and foremost is that Windows has a maximum command line length of 255 characters - yours is 285 :(.

Fix that and then try again...
