It sounds like you're sending both the PDF and the FDF in the email... why? You can leave the PDF on a web or FTP server. The Acrobat/Reader downloads it automatically when the FDF is opened. Yes, you still send both, but not at the same time, and not in the email. I would think this would spread out the bandwidth hit a great deal... and reduce it for people who never open the FDF in the first place. I would think the PDF would be significantly larger than the email and FDF together, so that savings could be considerable. Or have I misunderstood you? --Mark Storer Software Engineer Cardiff Software #include <disclaimer> typdef std::disclaimer<Cardiff> Discard; > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Greg McFarlane > Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 12:17 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [PDFdev] Combining Form data with the Form > > > > PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > _____________________________________________________________ > > Hello > > I am trying to basically do a mail merge. > I have a FORM with a couple fields > I can set the values if these fields and create a FDF file using > oFDF.FDFSaveToFile method from the FDF toolkit (ActiveX flavor). > > My question is - how can I save the data as a PDF so I dont > have to send 2 > files to the recipient (FDF and PDF).
