I'm on Windows XP, using Acrobat Reader 5.

I have three browsers I can run on my XP box, Netscape, IE, and
SlimBrowser. SlimBrowser is a tabbed-pane browser which uses the IE
rendering engine. I have that set as my default browser. Everything
that works with IE works with SlimBrowser, except for opening an FDF
attachment from Outlook.

When I have IE running and I open an FDF attachment, I see an Acrobat
Reader window open momentarily (with a grey body area). After a second
this goes away and the document appears in my IE instance. This happens
whether Slimbrowser is running at the same time or not.

If IE is not running, and Slimbrowser is running, and I open the FDF,
the Acrobat Reader window opens, but it doesn't go away, and the
document doesn't appear in SlimBrowser (or anywhere).
