Hi everyone, Hoping to get some advice from you TIFF experts. I am writing a TIFF->PDF converter, and it now handles all kinds of TIFFs except the CIE Lab ones (PhotometricInterpertation=8). Instead of converting Lab to RGB (which is hell on earth) I thought I could simply use the /ColorSpace [/Lab ....] color space in my image dictionary. When I do it, the image does show up, but the colors are all screwed up. The /Lab color space dictionary has some entries: /WhitePoint (required), /BlackPoint and /Range. I was hoping to get values for those from the TIFF image itself, but there was nothing there! So where would I get those values? Are there default ones? BTW, Photoshop opens those Lab TIFFs just fine. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Peter Persits To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfdev.html
