If I were you, I'd try to rebuild a srpm from a later Fedora release
[1].

I have no idea if this package is built from the same spec as one
provided on pdfedit website. Here is the direct link to the specfile:

Also, as a side note, please it might be wise upgrading to a later
Fedora releases -- Fedora 5 is obsolete, no longer supported, and thus
contains unpatched security flaws. Fedora 6 and 7 introduce many
improvements, including security hardening and performance gains.
