Hi,
Well I had the same problem the week before, and I am also quite new to
"pdfEdit".
I don't know if there is a better way to overcome that difficulty but I did the
following:
Verify that the file is existing on the "cygwin" root directory or
sub-directories by executing a research on it.
If it doesn't exist then : Re-execute the "setup.exe" on the web site, and be
sure that the package containing the "cygqt-mt-3.dll" is checked.
If it exists then you have to add to the "PATH" the following:
C:\cygwin\bin
c:\cygwin\usr\local\bin for the "cygqt-mt-3.dll"
c:\cygwin\usr\X11R6\bin for the "cygGL-1.dll"
But I discovered few days later that all my problems came from the installation
procedure.
On the installation window called "Choose installation directory", on the area
called "Default text file type" I have checked "DOS / text" instead of "Unix /
binary". And for me this is really the key. Please choose "Unix / binary" (if
you didn't)
Before discovering this I have struggled hours overcoming one by one the error
message till the point I couldn't solve a "Faltal error" indicating :
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
winDeinitMultiWindowWM - Noting shutdown in progress
