Dear Michal Hocko; I tried switching to an older version and using File -> Copy current revision. Now nothing will open the file. :( I tried the pdfview and it complained about the file. When I try opening the file with pdfedit it just seems to crash, it disappears from the screen.
Fortunately, I have a copy of the revised file.
