Hi PDL devs,

Looking at this: https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/branches

Shows that these branches, having “0” on the right side of the little graphs,
don’t ADD any commits:
* cpan_2.007_release
* release_2.4.10

They appear to be in fact doing what a tag does, which is mark a point in time,
and literally nothing else. Since there are perfectly good tags pointing at
those points, does anyone object if I just delete those branches?

On a similar note, this branch adds commits to recreate 2.007_04, almost:
* cpan_2.007_04

As the author of the only commits on that branch, and given all the relevant
commits are reflected in 2.007_05 et seq, I want to delete this one too as
pointless. Any objections?

Finally, this branch looks like a small git error:
* cpan_2.006_release

It features a merge of two commits on top of what is tagged as the actual 2.006
release, which *are not* in 2.006, and *are* reflected in commit
4af8e15a2aec78f388bd96021395d51ab35e2192 the next day (which is on master).
Therefore, this branch serves no purpose and I want to delete it too. Craig,
any objections?

Best regards,
Ed
