As mentioned previously, I would like to push a new PDL-2.007_12 CPAN developers release. If you have any fixes, merges, etc. to be included, please do so.
As for status of a PDL-2.008 release, here are the remaining bug tickets with priority 5 or greater: > Pri Bug# Description > > 7 238 NiceSlice affects code where it should not > 7 330 NiceSlice can get confused by comments to cause compilation errors > > 5 268 PLplot still unusable with X > 5 332 "isn't numeric in null operation" warning could be more helpful > 5 346 ExtUtils::F77 dependency causing problems for CPAN install > 5 347 t/#pdl_from_string.t has a failure if BADVAL_NAN=1 > 5 367 BAD value parsing breakage > 5 368 PDL::Slatec::polyfit ignores incorrect length of weight... > 5 374 CONFIGURE_REQUIRES => Devel::CheckLib The only tickets with priority 6-9 are the two for PDL::NiceSlice fixes. All the remaining tickets have priority 5 which was TBD. If we take out the ones that, I hope, will be merged for tonights CPAN push, the remainder don't appear to be showstoppers. As for the PDL::NiceSlice fix, I'm prepared to push it off for the PDL-2.009 work to finish the 64bit indexing.
